Curate With Us
We are currently accepting applications for prospective curators.
We host both emerging and professional curators on our platform, as well as artists who are looking to curate an exhibition that includes their friends or colleagues whose work they love.
If you are interested in curating please submit a 500 word (maximum) curatorial statement outlining your key conceptual and thematic goals, as well as the potential artists and artworks to be exhibited. We host six online, independently-curated exhibitions a year.
Curator Responsibilities:
Curator provides a 500 word (maximum) curatorial statement outlining the exhibition’s key concepts.
Curator will create a diverse exhibition of artists and mediums.
Gallery will take a 20% commission of each sold artwork’s final sale price, with PGV receiving 12% and the curator receiving 8% of each sold artwork’s final sale price.
Curator will be paid their commission at the end of the exhibition and after all sold artworks have been received by their buyers.
Curator will help promote the exhibition through social media and/or other mediums.
Curator is encouraged to include at least one work from a print publisher. Although not mandatory*
* We ask all curators to reflect upon including at least one work from a print publisher. Print publishers are print shops that edition an artist’s work. They often work with mid-career or established artists. This makes the artist’s work more affordable and available since editions can be large and provide more copies. To see an example of published work previous curators have selected, please view our previous exhibitions. If you are uncomfortable or unfamiliar with reaching out to shops, we are happy to help you!
Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. We look forward to reviewing your submissions!
